Needless to say, I envy you and I hope that it's OK for me to ask you couple of things.

 

I've been a lurker here for quite awhile now. My handwriting looks kind of childish for someone my age, hence why I chose to start learning Palmer. I thought it is best to start straight away with alphabets but the inconsistency of my suppose-to-be-Palmer handwriting proved me wrong. So since the last two weeks, I start again with the Os and the sticks.

 

So, my questions are:

(1) How do I know for sure that I'm ready for more than the Os and the sticks

(2) Is there any tips (or secrets!) on how to form a more consistent letters and slant? Or is this something that will come naturally once you get better?

(1) Just do it. Start with these strokes:

I've never once "view" the letter as something that can be spliced and put back together, so this is truly a refreshing way at looking it.

Thank you! So, your coworker should be inspired and want to improve. I'm betting he's been there awhile, it's become somewhat of a grind, and he doesn't want to be challenged. Only guessing, but that was often my experience. I liked your response!
