Gosh, even though you say we shouldn't be envious, I still am! I have posted some of my handwriting here. I used to have a proper schoolhouse cursive that my mother painstakingly taught me from the traditional handwriting manuals. I would dread many a childhood afternoon when she would correct even my posture when I was doing my handwriting exercises.

 

As I grew older and had more freedom, I decided to break all those rules, and I sort of settled into such anarchy that I can no longer go back to the proper schoolhouse cursive. *sigh*

I like your writing - very easy to ready and with personality - and I also like your matching idea.

I often match pen and ink colors, but when I use a black pen anything goes!
