I'm enjoying this thread far more than I think I should!

If only my handwriting looked half as good...hence my preference for firm stubs / CIs.

This is my favorite of all your Ex-es (love at first sight! :roflmho: )

Is that from the Eversharp or the Swan?

Love both of them, give me a yell the divorces are finalised :roflmho: (if you decided to sell them in the future) !

See, pen sellers! Having writing samples do help! I have spotted out possibly the better ones of the lot just from a few words of samples!! :roflmho:

You are right, I have a B, M, F and EF nail....would never need another nail.

Of course my nail B and M do use more ink than a EF.

Well, well, well, I even got one inked, a B. Someone gave me a Lamy CP-1, cartridge pen. I've used it so little, it's still got Shocking, the cartridge is almost empty and in only a year.

From time to time I ink my P-51 F for editing.

Nice and Smooth.

Would not say no to a Dupont nail.

Got rid of most of my nails and regular flex to my godkid. The modern pens.**

I'm sure to have a few regular flex vintage pens...somewhere.

I do like semi-flex (@25) and maxi-semi-flex/'flexi' (@10).

I only have some 4-5 easy full flex.

One noodle....out side of dip pens. I'm not really ready for them.

One does not need to press a nib hard all the time in nibs with some flex. A light hand in a semi or 'flexi' will give you a regular line.

:headsmack: All that time wasted learning a beautiful flex hand.

**PS...I do have some regular flex pens I use, in F and M, that often give me very good shading in this or that ink. Better shading than I expected.

Always inked is my Pelikan 120 ('50s-65) gold plated steel F, a joy to write with. It's nib is a tad more springy than modern regular flex, though it is not a springy nib like a modern MB.

One does need a full set of each flex, IMO.

CI& Stub...will be by me alternated when I get so far. BB nail '36 Parker Canadian on a '38 Vac, and a rescued Lamy Persona OB nail, now a M-B Cursive Italic...always now in rotation.

However, I might be interested in the Waterman 5 or the Conklin.

I enjoy owning pens with which I can play around with flex, but for 95%+ of my writing, I prefer just a standard nib. I can writer faster and maintain the nice selection of inks, etc that I love most about fountain pens.

Please list the unsatisfactory some what flexible nibbed pens you will be selling for a song to save ink.

Well I can't help you, I got to feed a lawyer, who don't collect pens. :bonk:

I feel like I'm reading a romance about fountain pens. The honeymoon, the breakup, the collateral broken friendships :)

Andy, you called dibs on everything. (Petulant face.)

(Ha ha ha.) A couple of those pens inspired flex lust even in me. That last Sheaffer? *Swoon*
