Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us!

Wow, it's been way too long since my last post. It took a good amount of time just to read all the intervening posts. It was worth it, of course, to see the pens and penmanship on display. I picked up a few new pens (below), and I'll be sticking my currently-owned pens for a while as my wallet recovers.

 

Kyouju - I'm jealous that your computer can handle those games. It's been a while since I got a new computer, and when I tried to play The Witcher 2, it looked like a slideshow rather than a video game.

I love the samples! I also have a Homo Sapiens but with a Medium nib. But I just bought an Opera Elements with an Extra-Fine Palladium nib, I wonder how it will compare to your Fine nib!

 

The Pilot has been on my wish list for so long! It looks like the Fine nib would be perfect for me. It looks amazing.

 

The Edison is an intriguing pen. Wow. I used to have a Premiere with a steel and gold nib, but I didn't like either, so I sold them. I liked the pen itself, but couldn't fall in love with either nib. I wonder what you think of your Fine nib. Could you share more comments about it? Thanks!

black..M800..Currently I'm usin two M800s'..

one with BB nib..filled with Pelikan Royal

Blue ink the other with an extra - fine nib..filled

with Skrip #22 Blue -Black ink... .

Dear me, that game certainly does put most systems to task! I changed my laptop (now i7Q, GTX 680M) recently for it and Battlefield, actually: the old one kept delivering below 25fps on high settings for those two games, and as far as I am concerned, dropping below that number for any title is no longer "playing". (And despite what some say, I do believe frame skips can get you killed.) I hope it is not too rude to ask what CPU/GPU set-up you are using? And if upgrading is impossible?

 

PS: How old is your Homo Sapiens? There does not seem to be a discernible patina on it yet. Shinyyy...

Uncle Red - Re.: The Intuition. Twisting the end cap ejects the converter / nib / innards. Thus, there are no visible threads or joins on the pen. Neat, huh ?

 

Trvt. Toter - Thanks ! But, doesn't everyone keep their pens in such holders ? hehehe.

You must first load them onto Photobucket or Flickr in order to get them on here. There is a way to upload direct on here but I still have not managed to figure it out!

First resize any large photo to under 1 Mb.

Then click on the upload tab at the top of the page.

It opens up a new tab in your browser.

Click on Upload from HDD (your hard drive) Browse button.

Find the picture you want on your HD

Then the Add Image button

It will show your picture and below it some codes.

Copy the BBCode

 

return to your FPN tab and in your reply paste the BBCode.
