Lousy photo, but great pen. (And Diamine Steel Blue has much more green in it than appears here.) I was very excited when I received this pen and when I got it in working order!

This stub writing looks so awesome! Now I see why you like the stub so much. I am really impressed, and will put an Esterbrook stub on my wish list.

I lament and struggle with very poor handwriting, to the point where I have to write in block capitals on white boards at school. I really spent a long time on it. If only it came more naturally

That's a beautiful blue. I'm a big fan of PR Electric DC Blue, but this looks even better!

I must try some.

How well does it flow and is it easy to clean up?

@akustyk, that Estie is not actually a stub. It's a Fine nib with a lot of character that brings out some line variation. It's a 2556. See Brian Anderson's description of the Esterbrook 2556 Fine. All that said, it is one of my favorite nibs.

I LOVE it! It's a smooth writer, has surprising heft, and is well made. I still can't believe they're offering it for as cheap as they are, especially considering that it comes with a converter.
