I have finally bought the pen I've been wanting for a long time, the Omas Paragon, old-style, in black and gold. Out-of-the-box, it is wonderful:

What a beauty! I've been eyeing this brand for a while. Good to hear your praise for the pen.

I love your Snorkel and P51 samples. I've not had good luck buying those used. Maybe some day...

The 'old style' Paragons are indeed beautiful! The black and gold is so dignified too!

I have collected nearly all the colours in this model, but don't have the black.

Kudos!!! :notworthy1:

Prvt. Toter - I love your Rhodia / Kaweco notepad. I've been looking for something like that for a while.

I try to keep the number of good pens to ten, as otherwise, this would easily get out of hand, but I do have four Lamy knock-about pens that are particularly good on poor-quality paper, for addressing envelopes, etc. They almost never feather or bleed, yet are very smooth and a pleasure to use. Here they are:

Hi esterbex, it's great to see you on this thread. Will you show us your pens and ink?

... otherwise, this would easily get out of hand ...

Clearly you are a master of understatement. :clap1:

Dip pens!

I finally found a good match for my pilot 78G B, noodler's blue-black, I can't imagine why it's so much better behaved in there than the grey or eel blue. It's perfect for my brewing store shopping list.

I couldn't leave out my LAMY Vistas.

Once again, on Rhodia.

fpn_1358478075__lamy_vistas.jpg

This is quite a set! Makes me wanna get a stub. Awesome.

For the minimal cost of these great pens and nibs, you can't go wrong. In fact I saved so much by choosing Vistas, that I sent them to the states for further smoothing and tuning and was still way in front.

The only downside was being without them for a month!bawl.gif

Best regards,

Steve.

Hi EsterBex! MB Je t'aime may give you similar colour and shading to the Christmas ink so beautifully shown earlier!
