Okami, that is beautiful script! And please tell me about the Ruthenium BB nib you have - how did such a thing end up on an Edison?!?!

akustyk and attika89, nice MB 146s! I'm a big fan of the 146 - it was my very first fountain pen 22 years ago. I have two now: the original, which has a sweet writing M nib, and the one below, just returned from FPN's Dillo with a marvelous stub nib.

GClef, where do you come up with these eBay "deals"!!!

Rev, don't get too crazy with those inks. :headsmack:

Perfect to study organic chemistry with!

The ink is iroshi Asa Gao, and the notebook is a national brand computation notebook, a favorite of mine.

Aah, memories... have you tried cooking your own ink in the lab?

Here's what I'm using at the moment:

Somehow, I keep coming back to my Montblanc 344. It is the only pen that I truly feel like I got a super deal on. I bought it NOS, which is somewhat rare for this type of pen. I love it so much. I wish such wonderful nibs were still available on new pens.

Thanks Uncle Red!

To be honest I did not like the Chocolate Brown as much as I expected, until I used it with this wider wet nib. The shades come out nicely now.

But you know, you cannot go wrong with Pendleton. I can attest many times over that he does great work.

Hi there, this is my second contribution to this great post, and it's not even my pen or/and handwriting!

Yesterday was my girlfriend's birthday, and she got this:

She loves her new pen. I think I'm slowly turning her into one of us!

Before I forget, the pen is a Parker 45 Harlequin with a Shield pattern and the ink is Pilot Blue.

Very nice! I didn't even know there was such a pattern! :yikes:

Yes! That's what it's called a "breather tube"! I had a brain fart and couldn't think of the name of that thing.
