And just for the record, a lot of what gets used here is Parker Vector, not expensive, Manuscript Calligraphy, way not expensive - apart from which it is not about the price but about the fun you have with what you can afford to have fun with

Awww thanks, man. About that Namiki purchase...LOL! Well, I "treated myself" there. I just got it a couple of weeks ago...more than I should have spent on a pen...and to make it worse, I bought it from Classic Fountain Pens, and paid to have some custom nibwork done on it. He did a great job on it. I'm almost scared to write with it, and scared to death I'll drop it.

mhphoto, those Watermans are gorgeous. I've had a RHR on my 'want' list for quite a while now, but haven't found the right one to drop the cash on yet. I admire that you use these so much. I haven't yet become used to the flex way of writing.

The ink is iroshi Asa Gao, and the notebook is a national brand computation notebook, a favorite of mine.

Thanks! And yeah, it did originally have one. It's one weird frankenpen! It's a 51V body with a 52½ feed and a semi-flex, non-keyhole breather hole #2 nib.
