Wow D.C., those are great! I really like the Music nib and the Highlighter is something else. How wide is it? It's certainly easier to carry around than a Pilot Parallel 6.0mm

David, I hope I am within walking (or driving) distance if you ever had a pen party. All your pens with those fabulous nibs... I would like to spend an afternoon with them. :-D Or maybe you will come to the SF Bay Area, and we will Pen Posse. :-)

Lisa, those sound like great ideas, but especially the winter pen party. I'll pick you up at the Minneapolis airport and take you north with a team of dogsleds (one of my good friends is a musher), or perhaps in snowmobiles. But wait, did you have to shovel snow 5 times in the last 24 hours? Was it -5 F in SF this morning? Maybe the Pen Posse in SF is a better idea ... yes, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure a trip to the Bay Area in January would be therapeutic. I'll let you know ...

MY GOD, dpritch! I want that Saratoga!!!! :cloud9:

Now, now, no need to get all excited. It's just a skinny black pen with a squatty looking nib, but it does write sublimely. Though I'm glad Nathan spends his time making wonderful inks for us to use, I wish he had time still to craft nibs.

This weeks selection.

Nice looking pens and Welcome to the party!

Looks like that Edelstein Ruby belongs in the Noodlers! Plays havoc with my eyes that automatically thought it was the Noodlers writing that!

'scuse my ignorance - what do you mean by a highlighter?

In some parts they are known as a text marker. Search for it on Amazon and you will recognise it.

Cheers,

Peter

I have another pen with a Nathan Tardiff custom nib, a Kaweco Sport with an enormous highlighter nib he fabricated specifically for the pen. The nib and feed are both custom made 14k gold and Nathan used O-rings to seal everything so it can be safely used as an ED filler. He made and sold a few of these but they are pretty hard to find nowadays. You'd have a hard time finding a wider nib than this one; it gives pause to even a certified stub-aholic like me. I tried it once with regular, non-highlighter ink (Noodler's, of course) and it was pretty cool to see, though you go through a lot of paper and ink.

Its a little messy in these pictures, but hey, life is sometimes just that way.

Camera work as usual is excellent.

Wow those are brilliant pens. I am glad I haven't needed the use of a highlighter for a while or I will be searching for one of those bad boys.

Please, dcpritch, can we see that highlighter in action?

I will ink it up, but it will be a couple of days due to my current work schedule. :)

Sorry about my terminology. I think Peter has the better word.
