Uncle Red, I am getting good results from both of them and enjoying them very much!

KrazyIvan, that looks very nice indeed!

Sorry for the fuzzy photos. I had to rely on a phone camera.

Sorry for the long absence: Hurricane Sandy gets some blame, and excessive workload at my job gets the rest.

I am a fan of the eco-rollers in the photos above. The entire ink delivery system can be replaced inexpensively. For those that haven't seen them before, they are cartridge/converter rollerball pens. When you replace the tip, you are replacing the equivalent of the nib AND feed. Add to that a new converter and you have replaced every part of the pen that touches ink. It makes it a good pen for inks that have a reputation for not playing nicely.

I'm drawing a floor plan study for a Spanish Colonial this morning, using my Levenger True Writer Sea Glass, medium nib, Noodler's Dark Matter ink.

Having a great time!

I have the Konrad and I have to say the Serwex flex nib is smoother. The feed supplies enough ink flow to flex quite a bit. I did finally get it to railroad a couple of times last night but it was after laying down some serious ink for a few minutes. I had to prime the converter to get the ink flow going again. It was almost understandable though, I had gone through almost the whole converter of ink after doing about 10 Christmas cards. That floored me.

Yeah, I'm mostly a blue-black kinda guy, so even the Racing Green is a stretch for me. Ah, to each their own, I guess ;)

Thanks so much! This was actually one of my first pens and still love the tiny nib on the big 149; the ink just never seems to run out :)
