Finally found a good non-leather pen case so carrying more than one pen today. Edison Herald, Sheaffer Balance II, and Pilot Vanishing Point

Got an EF nib for my VP this week! I love it!

I think I might not need a needlepoint or UEF nib, I'm totally satisfied!

+ Dimaine Midnight shows it's nice red sheen with this nib very well!

Last week's rotation is still in service - an Omas Paragon (F Extra Flessibile), Pelikan M1005 EF, Sailor 1911 Large MF.

 

Inks are Kon Peki (Omas) Diamine Twilight (Pelikan) and Sailor Black (1911).

I need to look up how you really cut them. It worked rather well aside from the width. The paper is nasty cheap stuff that doesn't work with any of my pens so don't hold the feathering against the feather.

Do a search on YouTUbe there is a lot of stuff on how to cut them. But also, you need to dry them as the oils in the feather affect the ink - Enjoy!!!

Uncle red - to answer an earlier question you had posed regarding the Tsuchida ED - yes it is tapered and feels very comfortable in hand.

The ebay guy has a good score rating. The pen was described as professionally restored etc etc so it is rather disappointing. I have sent them an email to see how they want to handle it. I like the pen and maybe they could get their hands on another nib for me. I would contribute towards it as fair is fair but right now I am somewhat disappointed. I never bought 2nd hand off ebay before because I feared this type of situation - so first time I decide "Hey these guys look good" and guess what! ah well. Hopefully we can get it sorted nicely!
