Nice picture. Where is that Saddleback Leather pad holder from? That is one of the nicest A5 holders that I have seen. Edited by dornblaser

Tringle: What nib does that gold Waterman Gentleman have in it?

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Oooh Dragons, Preppy Fairies and a tour of Bexley. Thanks for sharing all!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I am sooooo excited about this big nib, I prefer the wider nibs nowadays.....seem to have more umpfff! This is a specially ground italic stub from Spain. :)

That is one gorgeous leather cover! I'd love that for my Nanami Paper Tomoe River notepad! Alas, I don't think they have a cover size for an A5 notepad. :(

An actual brand new pen! I got this Bexley today, and got a free tour of the manufacturing process.

Great looking pen, I bet the tour was informative!

The tour was pretty cool. It's a small operation, with some large equipment. I was surprised at the size of the machinery, but you need something durable and precise. I found that I live only 10 minutes away, too. This was an eBay offering, and he was nice enough to let me pick it up, in lieu of shipping fees.

Pens used in today's scribbling:

post-100823-0-28328000-1419992696_thumb.jpg

On my machine, the pen's can be IDed by their logos/barrel inscription (I know that's not the right term, but the correct one has decided to play hide-and-seek), but I'm not sure about the upload, so, to avoid frustration and eyestrain:

Top to bottom: Franklin Christoph Model 66, XF steel nib, Iroshizuku Kon Peki; Stipula Splash, steel (semi-)flex nib, Waterman Serenity Blue; Delta Unica, Goulet Blue LE, fine steel nib, Noodler's Lexington Grey; Kaweco Special, XF steel nib, Kaweco Caramel Brown; Edison Nouveau Premiere, Winter 2014 Edition "Black Ice," XF steel nib, myster grey ink (I'm pretty sure it's Lexington Grey again, but...), and Platinum Preppy, fine steel nib, eyedroppered by yours truly (kinda looks like I underdid the silicone grease, but no leaking so far), Iroshizuku Tsukushi.

Apologies again for the image. I should be working for Disney, with my mickey mouse photographic skills...
