Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

.........

Thanks, amberleadavis. The broad Bexley nib on the pen writes buttery smooth, right from the start (no pre-washing, etc). I love that DC SS Blue ink.

Only one word for that pen: MAGNIFICENT. Wait, two words: MAGNIFICENT and GLORIOUS. OK, three words...

I believe it was this deep violet-blue monster, that looks like it has an ecto-skeleton. Funky!

Pendleton Brown stubbed my M1000 and I just got it in the mail today. Unbelievably smooth!

Thanks, though the Blue O' Blue is one of those pens that is far prettier in person than a picture can show.

Hi Clive, looking good there. :)

Tringle, the stub on that Waterman is the bomb!

Amberlea wanted to see an old pen, so I used a brand new ink (just arrived today) in a not-black-any-longer Aikin Lambert. The "R" imprint on the nib is pretty uncommon. The clip imprint bears a patent date of "Oct. 9 09"; judging by the clip and lever style, I'd say this pen is from the period 1915 to 1920.

Anyway, its fun to use and I LOVE Sailor's new Cigar ink! (Thanks you-know-who)

dcpritch - With a little help from my friends, I now am more educated on different nib sizes.

I have a pen restorer close to home in Arizona - Aaron Svabik of Pentiques - No affiliation but spent some time with him in his workshop the other day and it was really cool. I was hoping we would break out with the Star Wars toys at some point but our moms called us and I had to go home. :P

I am sure there are other FPNers who will like this pen, Saskia was the first one I thought of.

Happy Holidays!

Troy

wow tringle ... that is AMAZING. You're right. :) I *do* love that pen. The nib is gorgeous!

And dcpritch, I'm so glad you love that ink. Isn't it gorgeous? Man, Sailor makes me so happy with their inks. :D

Happy holidays everyone! I have lost my camera somewhere in the holiday mess, so I'll have to dig it up before I can post a new show of my awesome BB Sheaffer triumph nibs I'm currently using. :D
