Festivus came early this year, and here's my new addition to the stable of vintage Watermans: A "Copper Ray" "Ink-Vue" with a stunningly flexible nib.

Sorry for the crummy cell phone photos...

DingDingDingDingDing! Today, I'm having fun with a birthday present... OK, I've been having fun with it most of the week, but I finally stopped long enough to grab my camera...

The Schrade Tactical Pen

Yes, you can sign your legal paperwork afteryou kubotan the bejeezus out of some *BLEEEEEEEEP* who desperately deserved it... The nib is fine, and a little springy, so, your signature can even have your accustomed flourish...

Honestly, I have only used the writing aspect of it; hope I never need any other purpose, but, it does have the feel of a solid tool...

It fits my grubbies quite nicely (comparable in size to a TWSBI 580), and lays down a great (albeit fine) line. Not too wet, not too dry. Not flexy, but, while a springy nib, it is overall quite a solid pen. It does weigh down my shirt pocket a bit, but, I am definitely digging it!

Be forewarned... I will eye-bang the bejeezus out of your pens...

@Attila: I generally like your Photos but these latest ones are just exceptional.

That planner is incredible. I´m actually sorry I ordered a Midori as my planner

Today my hand just won't work as I want it to...I'm only mocking with dip nibs anyway, but this is even worse...

I should really practice more...

A Lamy Nexx M and a Sheaffer Prelude 342.

I bought the Sheaffer today from Amazon India for Rs. 2350, which I think is a great price. It is an M nib but lays a rather broad line, which I expected. Inked with Diamine Sargasso Sea. The ink stands out well on paper but there is considerable bleed even on my Rhodia notebook.

Indeed! Due to 00Photo's patent, I submit a significant variation on the design, in the hopes that there is no case of infringement... ;)

Celebrating the end of the semester --research papers and finals have been graded, and grades have been submitted to the Registrar. Now to let the Holidays begin in earnest --with the yummy new "Copper Ray" Waterman Ink-Vue, some Garuda Rood ink, and the bubbly inspiration fluid:

I'm with Claudia... the rasberries are a nice touch. I think the entire scene is drool worthy.

I like the zentangles. And the pen. And the glass of libation.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.
