Dear Tringle,

Do you use all of them at work? Or - time to time you use and other different pens from your collection?

Also any ideas for box/holders for collection?

I just got this Bexley BX802 in the mail and it's my pen of the day. :) I got a 1.1mm stub nib on it. :)

I used Diamine Eclipse for this writing sample (last line on the page). I must admit it gives lines an interesting character, very smooth writer too.

Yes. So long as she doesn't discover the extra ink at work we will be fine.

She has been enrolled as an apprentice and adds interesting pens to my ebay watch list... this could be risky!

Ooo could be very expensive.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

David, that green lucite is just beautiful. Was it originally shinier? It looks like beach glass.

@RINGO - Yes, I use all of the pens for work, I do have others that I rotate during the week or month. Depends on what catches my eye, or what ink I am using. I have a glass top case I received as a gift several years ago, Its bulky, when I cannot put pens in my shirt pocket I have a couple of pen cases or pen wraps I take along for work.

Thanks for the very nice compliments on the pens - they are pretty fun to use.

The picture didn't do the green Lucite justice. Lucite of this vintage often cracks and crazes but this pen seems to have been spared; the grooves are in good shape, the lucite is quite shiny and clear, and overall the pen is in pretty remarkable condition. I'm racing between meetings and will try to post some pics later.

Troy, the one on the far right in your pic - I think you posted a photo a day or two ago on that and I forgot to comment, but I love the etching on the barrel - its quite remarkable and lovely.

Here you go, a 1939 Watermans Hundred Year Pen, grooved green Lucite, Ladies size, perched atop a similar vintage Watermans Ink bottle:

You can see the nib inside the cap:

Its kind of hard to see here because the sac is full of Cd'A Amazon, but I used a silicon sac which is translucent when it isn't full of ink, allowing you to see right through the barrel when the pen is held up to the light:

The etching on this pen is fascinating to me, subtle and stylish. The nib look below at this monster.

I have a glass top case I received as a gift several years ago, .....

I found very good idea to use FERRERO ROCHER transparent boxes (for 24 pcs) to store pens' collection.

This is why these FERRERO ROCHER chocolates (for 7-8 Euros only or so) are preferable purchasing for any celebrations :) because I take boxes than.

So, a paper chocolate box? That's kind of cool.

RINGO - I think I would feel guilty for eating a whole box of chocolates. Wellllll, maybe not if its for pens. :)
