Looks like that Lamy is turning out very nice there Dicky!

Hmmm, that adds up to a lot of cash for one little light, however, on the bright side, if it is ever said that your hobby is expensive, you could point out the cost implications of the bumper car hobby by comparison? :roflmho:

It may turn out to be a lot a lot of cash as I'm contemplating changing the car for one the same but a couple of years newer and with a reversing camera.

I am pleased with the Lamy. At first I thought it was a tiny bit scratchy but by rotating it just a fraction it is very smooth.

I'd say that in real life the Apricot is shades of orange and the Apache Sunset is more red yellow. Hope that helps.

Uncle Red, thank you so very much for taking the trouble. You can actually see the difference you are describing in the photos: I had not thought it to be so clear before this comparison shot, admittedly.

I really do. I've tried other colors, but find myself coming back to shades and variations of those two staples. I think that's why blue-black is so intriguing to me right now. I like the vintage piece of blue-black as well, that it has an old feel to it.

I carry this miniature notebook in my wallet even when I don't have the 3x5 one in its cover. Small reminder for tomorrow, not that I was going to forget.

:roflmho: - but you didnt see th post where I ordered Pilot Iroshizuku Ina-Ho and also Sailor Apricot :roflmho: and I just got me notification that they are in the post!

Now, I also have to go pay customs duty on some pens things I have coming over from the States - not bad really aas I only get caught sort of 1 in 10 ration so I dont mind

Wait, change that, because I do mind!!! £7 customs plus £8 Post Office handling fee on a parcel worth £30 = 50% :gaah:
