That is so WRONG -- Funny!!!! Especially after you pointed out that particular nib was "desirable".

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Well, oddly enough it says both Sheaffer AND Levenger (I couldn't get both names on the band in one photo). I'm guessing when Levenger first started manufacturing their pens, they had Sheaffer do it? Intriguing...

It is an offshoot of the Connoisseur, indeed, made by Sheaffer for Levenger.

There are 7 or 8 different colors, all clear.

They were on close-out at a couple pen shows a couple years ago. Most all the colors and even a Sheaffer Stub. I think they were about $135 each.

I didn't get the Blue one with the Stub as I had just bought my Pel Baby Ocean Blue and they were similar to each other.

Thanks for the info. I had a dark blue one as well, but it seems to have disappeared. Looks like maybe I have a collector's item... ;)

I know I lucked out find this one and repaired it myself. I can tell it was well loved as the point seal and o ring were still in good condition I just had to replace the sac. This one is definitely one of my all time favorites *well past the parker 51I have*

I bought my Triumph Snorkel almost unused... All seals and sac working. Just one pitfall... The first owner has engraved the pen with his name... 40 bucks... The best buy I ever made...

Look at my horse, my horse is amazing!!!
