@Tas

Amazing work! I've been watching this in the news, including the planting of the last poppy, and your drawing captures the color and grandeur of this memorial.

Ditto. Tas, that is beautiful.

TAS -We live near Syracuse, New York but were fortunate to see the installation on a trip to the UK last month. Both it, and your capturing of it, are stunning. I must add that this was our first visit to the UK: London, Oxford, Devon, Cornwall and South Wales. Everyone was so wonderfully nice to us. What a delightful, heartwarming, memorable experience it was. A big,"Thank you!" to the people of the UK!

You always find such an interesting and unique point of view. The moat around the tower will never be the same.

Thank you guys. As someone who sketches for relaxation and fun I'm chuffed to bits to know these fleeting, often personal moments, are appreciated by others.

I'm new to this fountain pen caper, and I only have 3 pens, all of which have arrived in the last few days.

I'm enjoying them all very much, and use them all as often as I can every day.

The bottom one was just an impulse buy because I thought it looked quite nice. The description only said "Lovely hand turned acrylic pen, takes standard cartridges, comes in a box" That was it, no nib size nothing, however, as I don't know much about nibs yet, I just took a punt as It didn't cost much and I'm just buying different pens/nibs and having fun finding out what I like.

As it turned out it was smaller than expected, but "quite a nice wee pen" :)

Taking a punt, as you say, is some of the most crazy fun you can have with fountain pens! Enjoy, Ian, and welcome!

Thanks mknoblauch

I'll be honest, I was really quite excited while waiting on it coming, even though it only cost £5, which is a bit sad, haha, but I'm delighted with it.

I've been using it for the last couple of hours and it's been great, just my colours too.

I'm still at the "excited puppy" stage when buying pens, and when they arrive I find myself writing loads of nonsense just as an excuse to use them.

I haven't printed an address label for over a week now.

Oh bloody hell Tas - stop being so modest. It is absolutely marvellous Work.

I used to Draw a lot as a kid, but haven´t sketched a thing in over 25 years

I miss it from time to time, and Wonder if my re-kindled passion for fountainpens could get me started Again.

Keep the sweet stuff coming. It is much appreciated :)

Even if I´m mostly a stalker in this forum.

Newly added to the rotation for this week: Marine Green Wahl-Eversharp Skyline and Sailor Jentle Miruai :)

I recently purchased a bottle of Miruai, and I like the ink. I am waiting on a bottle of the Shigure. The Skyline is a classic pen. Great artistry.

Tas - Beautiful work, I visited the Tower and the area I found most interesting was Traitor's Gate. No idea why.

This one arrived in the mail today so of course I inked it up and took a few pics. It writes very smooth.
