My Franken nib unit, consisting of a vintage Waterman's #2 Canada nib, plus an ebonite feed taken from a cheap Indian pen bought from Fountain Pen Revolution, both shoved into TWISBI's nib holder black thingie. Flow is great and it gives a wet and bouncy ride = JOY!

I love your handwriting!

Haven't posted in here in a little bit, but I figured I'd share the pens I've been using most consistently lately. I took this picture last night just before I started tutoring one of my students.

Top to bottom:

Pelikan 140

Pelikan M200

Edison Nouveau Premiere, Autumn Harvest

Pelikan M205

I just use 24lb laser printer paper for tutoring, which feathers a little with wet nibs and inks... but it's not a huge deal when I'm just going through the basics of exponential functions on a chilly Sunday evening.

This one arrived in the mail today so of course I inked it up and took a few pics. It writes very smooth.

WOW - I love it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I could not have said that better myself, plus that MB is gorgeous. All your pens cause me to drool.

Thanks. I have got the same 'homage' for your vintage stunners.

Nice Pelicans. That Edison too, pretty. Looks like you are really enjoying them - other FPNers' envy :P

Hello fountain pen people, believe it or not I have skimmed through all of the 359 pages of this thread, over the last few months going through a few pages at a time before I fall asleep in bed. What a delight it has been. There are so many eye candy pens on this thread, and I so admire everyone's handwriting. It's very personal and beautiful. Here is my contribution for the day.

All those ghosts! How many pieces of ghosty artwork have you collected? It's so much fun to look at each day.

I enjoy the featherweight lightness of Pelikan M200/M400 sizes. They fit my hand perfectly and I don't post the cap so the pen can dance around and write for a long time without causing hand fatigue. I like small and light pens.

You have a lovely rhythmic flow in your handwriting. I wonder what that Chesterfield ink is equivalent to in the Diamine line of inks?

Unfortunately I do not know what the Diamine equivalent would be for the Chesterfield Ernite. The color itself reminds me of the Swarovski Erinite Crystal - if you goggle it you will see a picture of the crystal color. It is deeper than the Chesterfield Emerald. Reminds me of 'old world' money....

SNAK, Diamine Steel Blue looks great with that pen.

Thank you mhphoto, you have beautiful hand. I love your pens too. I'm curious about Noodler's Neponset, is it scratchy?

SNAK - Welcome to the thread, we are pleased to have your input and see your beautiful Mabie Todd ring top.

Thanks so much for the welcome. I enjoyed looking at your Wave artwork you did with ink.

I love your handwriting!

It's very kind of you to say that, thank you!

That is fantastic. It almost looks like the nib is a samurai sword and it still has the blood of the victim on it, only the victim was a blue blooded alien. That photo is awesome. Enjoy your new Pelikan! What is the blue ink in it?

Thank you pankaj, I do appreciate my pens and inks, just like everyone here I am sure. Snak*E* :lticaptd: - my username is a combination of my initials, so there's no meaning to it, but I wish I had been clever when I signed up and had come up with some witty username suitable for this forum.

That range of blue-green deep tealish colour is among my favourites. Mm...... lovely.

Remembrance Day here in the UK.

I've wanted to sketch The Tower of London and this incredibly moving installation for ages.
