Thank you... I'm enjoying watching how they slowly sink into the paper. I keep shooing my kids away so they don't disrupt the little water bubbles.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Psst, guys . . . 1 part Zhivago, 1 part R&K Helianthus - looks sooo similar to The Dafoe that I cancelled my order.

(I'm not usually such a meanie :) )

I feel like I should get into ink mixing a little....

Attila it really is a beautiful set, even the slot.

Thank you! I didn't even know the slot had a croc print until I got it. It was a nice surprise! :)

Great Stuff.

Thanks ;)

Playing around with an ahab today. I have no idea what I'm doing with this cursive writing, trying to remember long forgotten letter shapes. The flexing is very enjoyable though :)

Nice ink! Not sure if I'd like it IRL, but it looks nice here :)

Ant stand pen stand! Love it! Goes well with the Studio :)

Arrived today. So delighted: Mabie Todd Swan Pen (1920s-30s?), gold filled, flex nib. Handsome. Smooth writer. Happy. :D

That's amazing! Congrats!!!

I do love a handsome set, and I believe the 500NN is a better choice than a M1000. Anyday, any week, any year....well except in comparison to a Soennecken... Great set Attila!

Thanks Troy

If I can sell my other 146, I might still get the M1000 :ninja:

More of that PO nib please sir . . . :puddle:

That 912 became my main pen for note taking & sketching, with the GvFC Stone Grey. :)

Turning it upside down you can almost paint with it like a brush! I love it!

PO stands for "POsting" nib and it makes Tas drool. :P

It's a very rigid, very smooth EEF - EF size nib that can be used on about any kind of paper.

So is it a brand or type of nib? Some vintage Watermans have nibs stamped "Account", which are also nails, and I think intended to literally used to "post" entries in "account" ledger books instead of being used for regular handwriting.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

It's a type of nib, multiple Japanese manufacturers used to make it. AFAIK currently only Pilot is offering it.

Coop - Great find!

Napalm - I love the acronyms....

Attika made me want to use my pen sets after I saw his 500NN set..

After using the stubs, I went back to using my flex and firm nibs. I am slowwwlly getting to know different nib types and how much fun each of the type of nib can be to the user.

Have a great day!

I do love a good nailhead, or manifold nib.
