An unbranded old German school piston filler I got from a fellow member, to which I changed the nib. It's one of those two tone IPG from an old pen I had as a gift. The pen fell apart, but the nib is fine and smooth and lives on.

Wow, that's a lovely shade of green. What ink is that?

Kingdom Note Tanna Japonensis :)

The Defoe and the R&k Alt-goldgrün are pretty close to this it seems. I'm thinking about trying the MB.

This seems to be quite nice!

Psst, guys . . . 1 part Zhivago, 1 part R&K Helianthus - looks sooo similar to The Dafoe that I cancelled my order.

(I'm not usually such a meanie :) )

I just filled it up today, so a bit too soon to say. I think to get the full effect of it, and more consistent results, I would have to adjust the feed for more flow. I agree about this ink though, when it's good it's great!

Arrived today. So delighted: Mabie Todd Swan Pen (1920s-30s?), gold filled, flex nib. Handsome. Smooth writer. Happy. :D

I do love a handsome set, and I believe the 500NN is a better choice than a M1000. Anyday, any week, any year....well except in comparison to a Soennecken... Great set Attila!

Love this shot! They look like little gems :)

Thank you... I'm enjoying watching how they slowly sink into the paper. I keep shooing my kids away so they don't disrupt the little water bubbles.
