Hi Amber : Thats a nice pen. And the MB Toffee looks so impressive. I used to have this toffee about 10 years back. My impression is that the later batches of mbtb don't have as much depth and saturation. So I shifted to Pel brown/ Skrip brown / PR Choco. ( a sample pic of skrip brown below. Tissue used intentionally to attain depth ). However, I'm not so happy and still wish to go for MB Toffee. What do you advise ? Thanks.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks Amber.

Next to Blue and bluish Purple, I am heavy set on Brown. You got an impressive brown over there. Your Toffee. Guess you have used a B nib. Anyway, I like it.

Today I'm using an oddball that I just received in the mail. It's a Huahong with a 22 KGP nib. I inked it up with Ebony Green, and wrote on some Four Star Bond 25% cotton paper that I had crammed in my desk. The pen only cost me a buck with free shipping. It seems to be a pretty nice writer.

Its half of the BigBird in number ;)

And it has a matching pencil too.

The Krone seems to be quite a big/thick pen! Wow

Its thicker than a MB 149. Kinda the size of a Parker Duofold Senior. One of my favorite gifts from my aunt. Matching pencil to boot! I am always excited about a pen and pencil set.

Is that a Pelikan tattoo? :P

It might seem like I'm HUGE fan, but I use my Lamy and Pilot pens the most.

It makes me so happy to see shots of Yama-dori! I've been using it for four years and it's still probably my favourite ink. :D

It does get even more crazy, like other sheeny inks when the ink level is lower.
