Amazing photographs!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hi Pankaj,

Nice MB!

Apparently your MB 149 O2B write finer than my MB 145 OBB. Your nib looks like more practical in every day use.

Hi Carretera,

Thanks. Guess you are right. Now I realize why this 02B of mine doesn't draw a befitting fat line. Or may be I don't touch the nib on paper the right way.

Very pretty pen and that R&K shows up well.

Thank you amber.

I am a little disappointed because I didn't achieve to render all the nuances of this ink - from orange to yellow. :(

Is that because the pen/paper combo didn't show it, or because you couldn't capture it with the camera or scanner?

HalloweenHJB, that Oxblood is looking lovely! I've got Monaco Red and Ancient Copper in the red family but I'm liking Oxblood...

Here's my most recent acquisition:

It's not necessarily a pretty pen (though I do like the shade of blue of this one called "Navajo") but I think it's great to have modern flex nibs which are affordable (so I don't worry about using them or damaging the nib unlike the two vintage flex nib fountain pens I have). It's true I can get finer lines with my vintage nibs but this is a great compromise for every day writing.

Your Ancient Copper looks quite different in that pen than it does in mine! BEAUTIFUL. And your capital "I" is stunning (as is your penmanship in general)! I may have to borrow it... :)

Just two humble pens. One I bought for the free ink, the other because i had to!!

And the color "Amethyst" with a Know $15 pen. Not so bad for someone fixed on black and blue!

The Amethyst is great! I've been looking for a really bright, bright purple --most of the purples I have found are too dark and dull. Is this color really as bright as it appears in the photo?

Seeing the R&K yellow ink reminds me that I miss Ptero's drawings here on this thread. Why have you left us, Ptero? Come back!!

atticka89, Happy Birthday! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Wow, I wish my handwriting was a good as yours, very nice. I get so bummed when I read this thread and groan when I realize how far I have to come after seeing all the examples of beautiful penmanship.
