If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!

* Forgot to mention, I know that pen is a Cross, I was just wondering what model it is.

Not sure about the Epoch.

The Cross looks to be either a Townsend or Century model, but its a little difficult to tell from the photo. Hopefully that will give you a place to start your research :)

Edited to add a new Epoch seems to cost around £70 in the UK but I would have a good check of ebays completed/sold listings.

<<<<<<<<< OFF TOPIC ALERT !!! >>>>>>>>>>>

Its a great one to think about, and in two days I'm heading out on a canoe trip to do just that.

This is where I charge my batteries:

I can almost hear the birds in the trees and the ripples on the water.

Have a fantastic time !

Dcpritch, I'm also leaving soon for a fall retreat in the woods, in southern Vermont. If the place I rented offers a view only half as gorgeous as this one, I'll die of happiness!

Daniel, your Parker Quink really looks like Sailor Jentle Blue-Black (a new favorite of mine!) on this picture. I like it -- keep that pen inked!

As for myself, here is what I'm using these days: a medium-nib Carbonesque blue Vanishing Point for German re-learning (How much could I have forgotten in 8 years? Well... all of it!). Notice how Iroshikuzu Syo-Ro matches the blue dots on the pen!

And a vintage Pelikan 140 that I love, especially inked with this week's discovery, Sailor Jentle Sky High (love love love it!)

That ink is gorgeous! That sheen! Unfortunately, it appears to be discontinued. :(

Had to post about this Parker, which I did a little research and found this to be a Parker X, which was made in between the DQ and Jack Knife Safety. Half the price of a Black Giant, and Red Giant, this is the smallest of the sizes, button filler, with no cap band and chased hard rubber material.

A Parker #2 nib.

Compared in size to a Parker Duofold Senior

tringle: What is the ink you have in your cute little Parker?

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Millefleurs, I think my heart stopped beating when I read your message and found out that you were right: out of stock on isellpens, stylusfinepens and wonderpens. But La Boutique du Stylo here in Montreal still had some Sailor Jentle ink on their website called "Turquoise" in French and "Cyan" in English and I think that it is Sky High. So... I ordered a bottle. I hope it is the right one! (Can someone tell me if this https://www.stylo.ca/en/show-product/13046.html is Sky High?)
