Wow, beautiful pens...

Tiny Snail, NICE!!!

Attika, loving the Lamy2000 I have been holding out ordering one for a long time... kind of worked up in my mind to GREAT expectations... someday I will make the purchase.

KAMM let us know how you like the TWSBI and the inks...

LAHLAHLAW I always appreciate a nice Esterbrook, got a soft spot in my heart for those pens....

MTBRADLEY. good to write the stuff down, I believe you are right that the experience will serve you well in the future.. the journey is like lifting weights... at first it is hard, you plow through, and then the next thing is a little harder, but you plow through, then pretty soon you will look back and see how far you have come and how much more you are doing.... good stuff indeed... thanks for sharing...

It is indeed a great pen! Definitely worth it! It was my second fountain pen, but haven't left my EDC since.

I'm in this kind of situation with the Platinum Century for a while now btw.

What a pen! I hope I can get myself one soon

Great ink color too!

Yellow has always been the last colour I would consider when choosing a pen, but there's something about your Sailor that looks very inviting. Thank you also for sharing pages from your journal.

Funny you say this. I'm the same way. I would never have guessed I'd want a yellow pen. But looking at the different Sailors on nibs.com (no affiliation) where I bought my pens, I suddenly thought I'd love to write with a blue ink in this pen. I also wear a lot of blue dress shirts and thought it would look nice in the shirt pocket. I don't regret it a bit.

Very nice Bronze. I like the very very dark green inks.

I love the dark green inks too. Another favourite, although not as dark as Zhivago, is PR Avacado.

Thanks, the M1000 seem to prefer slightly drier inks though, brings out more of the line variation. Looks like a great nib on the 644G!

Just returned from Krakow. Tried to figure out how to post to this topic on my iPhone and then figured there were better things to do while in this amazing town.

I feel like I could spend the rest of my life traveling from coffee shop to coffee shop around the world armed as in the last photo. Thanks for sharing, Ricecracker!
