Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us!

Working on my writing today, inked up three pens.

Sheaffer Legacy Sterling with a Stub nib. Such a great nib on this pen. Nice line variation and extremely smooth. There was a Sheaffer brown cartridge left to dry out in this pen for well over a year.... Feeling a bit lazy I simply put in a cartridge of Sheaffer Black, and it seems to be working fine. This is the only pen I own that I use cartridges with, never got the filling system to work to my satisfaction.

Lamy Safari, 1.9 mm italic. I've sharpened this nib a bit. Filled with Diamine Majestic Blue, nice to see that ink again.

Lamy Al-Star, 1.5 mm italic. Also sharpened up a bit. Inked up with Noodler's Violet, another favourite. Maybe it's the simple name, but this ink seems underappreciated to me.

Hello everyone.

Today i am using a red and black ebonite woodgrain style pen. The barrell is imprinted "The Eric Pen" made in England, and on the botton says 6B. The lever is silver plated and it resembles the ideal style lever from Waterman's. It has two gold band rings. The cap is simple and has a stopper type clip that is imprinted "Ideal" on the center. This clip can be removed, and I guess comes from the Waterman's factory. The pen works perfectly, it has an ebonite feed also woodgrained that matches the section and the barrell. The nib is 18cts Warranted "Osmi-Iridium" Anglaterre. It is sooooo flexible that is scary, very soft gold, it goes from hairline to easily 1.9 mm line. It pours a lot of ink to the paper, very nice!

Da Vinci - Thank you for the identification on the MB. The silver is wonderful.

Bronze, I love that Sheaffer, I'm borrowing DCPritch's right now and I love it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

My flexi friends....sorry for the feathering (cheap paper). The celluloids and ebonites dont show well because of the lighting.

Ink: visconti black

Pelikans are just magnificent, and the brown (tiger eye?) striped models are most handsome. I have a small M200 that writes like a cranky old man, but is dear to my heart.

Stunning collection! I am particularly fond of the Morrison overlay --makes my heart swoon! I have a Waterman 0552-½ with a "basket weave" overlay, and it is one of my favorite pens, and a Morrison oversized "Tourist" and they're both wonderful writers with great flex.

That's very nice of him! The exact same pen? Wonderful nib on that pen, and even though the pen is heavier than I generally prefer it's a very comfortable writer.
