I am using my new Platinum 3776 Century in the beautiful Bourgogne color. It has a wonderful 14 k medium nib and it is inked with J Herbin Rouge Hematite which complements well the pen.

Very pretty and I think that's a great ink choice.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Woaw !!!!!! I Like your white Pelikan . I want the same ......

Thanks! These are actually available via pelikanpens.co.uk

I didn't know there were two sizes of these. Now only this bigger one is available.

There is one which is 15cm high and that can only take the smaller birdies.

Thank you, Napalm found it here:

Received some pens back from restoration land.

Grieshaber lapis blue flat top, celluloid, and a flexible #2 nib

Cap has a bend in it like a banana, I was going to have this restored however the probability of destroying the cap was very high.

This is a Parker "pre-Duofold" Duofold. The imprint does not have the word Duofold or the banner. An uncommon pen usually in this state.

I have a couple more but I am trying to catch up on what I missed while on vacation for Labor Day weekend in Sedona!

Safari 1.5 - Sailor yama-dori

You developed nice italic handwriting.

Certainly not as lovely as all of your lovelies, but I'm working with what I have!

Nice work!

Tiffany,

What size and type of nib are you using? I like the saturation of your writing sample. Is it what is considered a "wet" pen? (vs. a dry pen? I have no idea what those distinctions refer to.

@carretera18: (sorry for my poor english) I think it's no exaggeration to say that I came across this fountain pen when was shopping at a local supermarket . This is quite unusual for a supermarket offering these products. My amazement became curious to read " Maped " as manufacturer . Buy this model (http://www.maped.com/en/products/writing-instruments/smartwriting/reload-reload-classic) and proved to be quite functional and reliable. I have not researched much about the manufacturer but their website looks interesting: http://www.maped.com/en/

Today is the last day for my Baoer 1OO .... The shark face's converter is empty so, this evening, it's time to clean it and put it in the tray. Tomorrow, I think I'll use a Lamy Accent or a Caran d'Ache Leman ,,,, I don't know yet ....

So the question is .... which one will be the next one ?
