Okay, you caught me. I have that pen on my desk with a custom nib.... not a CI, but a nice little nib. Mine looks far more beaten.

Tringle, that pen is groovy!

I love this thread!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Your Penmanship never ceases to amaze me... Thank you for sharing.. maybe one day you can record while you write so we can see the pretty letters be born while you swing the pen around..

Guess I've been feeling Carl Sagan quotes all day. (Pilot 78G w/ Diamine Twilight and Lamy Vista w/ Noodler's Black)

Prvt. Toter: Nice lil snail :) I like the 616 quite a bit! Not as much as I like my 51 special, but I keep a stash of 616s at school in case I forget my workhorse pens at home (it happens...) and they get the job done.

Napalm: More snails! Adorable.

I was up late last night getting some work done and I'm at it again this morning. That's a sleepy little snail, there! I'm using my Platinum 3776 Century Nice F with a black Platinum cartridge and a Pilot Metropolitan M with Private Reserve Orange Crush. It's a nice, deep orange. Dry. I don't think I'll buy a whole bottle but I'll probably get good use out of the sample.

Not sure why I've not looked at this thread before, but it's great! My current work pens, on my desk as I write this:

Arggh, I just noticed the "it's" with the apostrophe! I can't believe I wrote that...good thing my adult children won't see this post, I'd never hear the end of it.

Nice video 00Photo! What ink are you using there? And what's the secret trick to making perfect flourishes so effortlessly? Mine always seem unbalanced when I'm playing around.

The ink is Kobe Nunobiki Emerald. The trick to flourishes is to put them in everything all day long hahahaha. Just have fun and throw them everywhere.

Inks are Waterman Florida Blue, Private Reserve Spearmint, Noodler's Nightshade, Diamine Saddle Brown, Diamine Chocolate Brown, and Noodler's X-Feather.

More seriously, I've been playing around with my new-to-me Pelikan 140 tonight. Waterman Florida Blue.

Nice greens! Very similar colors.

I'm trying to picture what yellow pines look like though.

The trees look like other pines, but the wood is yellow not white.
