pomperopero, I'm loving that Sheaffer. I have one like it but need to find a cap for it. I would love to be able to use mine for something other than a dip pen (with fp ink only).

 

Dear MissChief, I know your feeling, I have a Swan Leverless with a broken filling system and I can only use it as dip pen. Hope you can find a cap for the Sheaffer.

I'm on a trip to the south of Spain and I'm using my Lamy Safari (M nib) loaded with Waterman's Serenity (Florida) Blue. Great for writing what I do every day...

I am left handed, but this works great for me!

The eBay seller Cool Japan (Atsu) can get most of the Sailor exclusive inks, which is what Tanna Japonesis is. Most of not all of these shops in Japan do not ship outside of Japan, some don't even ship inside Japan. Atsu goes to the different shops, gets what you want if it's still available, then ships it to you at a price of $40 USD per bottle. The Kobe inks might be less, I've never asked Atsu about that particular ink. Some stores do ship overseas, but I don't know which ones will.

Is that Sailor Kingdom Note ink still available, and if so, from whom? I haven't been able to find anything online that didn't involve exchanging my soul for it and Daniel Webster isn't practising law at present to my knowledge.

Leon, the bung box and kingdom note inks I have are either samples from someone who did a large buy or someone who was visiting and my bottles are from those nice people who tracked my order on to their order.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

The Nakaya is lovely, I like the ink, but the MP is the bee's knee's. My youngest is the custodian of my M-2 and it's lenses, amongst them a razor-sharp DR Summicron.

 

You are a gentleman of taste, sir.

 

 

I do not expect to contribute much to this thread as I think my daily tools are set for quite some time. I tend to find a flavor that I like and then obsessively beat it to death.

 

So here is my current rig and you can be guaranteed that at any moment of the day, wherever I am, I will have these items on me.

Today, I will use the three pens I received yesterday.

A Montblanc Noblesse bought on the internet and two chinese pens a client gave me because he received it by heritage but doesn't use fountain pens .....fpn_1408875927__xe016371.jpg

I think that Nakaya has just become my grail pen, it is STUNNING!

The pattern is insane! Great looking pen!

From what I understand its a Dutch made Caw's and that pattern was available in red, black and green. Reminds me of something Austin Powers would use.
