The white Sailor is really nice, I have not seen one before.

Yesterday was my birthday and my husband proved to me that he really does listen to me most of the time. He found one of the only shops in this town (besides Staples) that carries fountain pens of any kind (and they don't carry many). I have been using this Faber Castell Basic with an M nib today and am loving it. I don't love the ink but I do love the pen. It's a great writer... smooth as silk. And to top it off, it writes better on cheap paper than on the good stuff (it's very wet on higher quality paper)!

Happy Birthday!

The Basic is a really nice looking pen! I should really try one of those FC nibs now!

Congrats!!!

Mishka5050, the pink ink is Pilot Mixable Colours Pink (only available as cartridges) diluted 1 part ink to 2 parts water. I love that TWSBI! What ink is in it?

Jodyw, thanks! It is not very difficult to work on your handwriting really. I like the look of the translucent green (acrylic?) Monteverde, can you use it as an eyedropper?

Attika89, thanks! I had a look at your Flickr and I'm amazed at your photography skills! You make all your pens look irresistible! :notworthy1:

Uncle Red, thanks! I will try to post more. Love your collection!

Amberleadavis, thanks for organising the inky operation!

MissChief, belated birthday wishes!

Hero 5028 calligraphy pen 1.5mm with Noodler's Golden Brown and Serwex 101 eyedropper with Hero 232 Blue-black. I "ground" the Serwex nib to a ~1mm italic with a nail clipper (!!) and some micro-mesh.

I'm having trouble uploading right now but

Happy Birthday to MissChief. Mine was Sat 8/16

And a very Happy Birthday to you, too, Uncle Red! I hope you had a marvelous day! I certainly did.

@disillusion - thanks!!! Twsbi is inked with Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo. Not for much longer tho ;)

This is my today's choice. I'm not a fan of Jinhao, but I got this for a pound...and gives me opportunity to have all inks out :)
