Attila, I like the sheen on that Parker Penman Emerald - a classic! And like many others I am looking forward to seeing some of your recent drawings. Can you feel the pressure?! :D

 

Claudia, one reason I've stayed married so long is my innate ability to sense when I'm about to step out onto thin ice. I recall with a shudder one trip to LA which I rearranged so that it *coincidentally* fell during the LA Pen Show. Not well received, not at all. :huh: Having some experience, then, I perceived that calling on Amberlea while on an anniversary trip - however well intentioned - might not be the best idea. I hope Amberlea understands. B)

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Haha, a picture it is. If I were Tas or Attila or one of our other fabulous artists I'd draw a picture, but instead I will just copy and paste from the Louboutin website. I may have opined, mostly to myself, that these wouldn't be much use in the snow and ice back home, an errant comment, for sure, and one which seemed to hasten the buying decision. :)

 

Thanks all for the well wishes. My wife is worth far, far more to me than every pen I own and every pair of shoes in her closet, and we are blessed to have had a wonderful marriage all these years.

I don't know about anyone else, but I see a lot of similarities between the lines and curves of those shoes and all the beautiful pens you post here, dcpritch. After 30 years, you share the same eye for beauty.

 

As a fellow Minnesotan, I sincerely hope she's not planning on walking out to the sauna with those on!
