Krone pens are my favorite modern pens.

Not quite flex but verrry smooth:) I wish they made more Non-LE pens.

I posted this in my Lamy 2000 thread, but now I'm including the video.

Looooove this nib grind! I've continued to work the iridium extrememly slowly as the tipping material is very small.

The video shows the pen in action using only it's own weight to draw a face and then at the end I write SUPERFINE as shown in this pic.

Pictured:

1. Karas Bolt with a Pilot Hi-Tec C .3mm. Fantastic refill choice, but it always needs a few seconds of scribble to get going each day.

2. TWSBI Mini EF with Noodler's Eel Turquoise. I think the ink is making the nib a hair juicier than it could be.

3. Namiki Falcon with the John Mottishaw Spencierian grind and Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo. Needle point with added flex. The line is super consistent, but writing this slow and small allows the tines to flex just a hair and John slightly increased flow.

4. Lamy 2000 with needle point grind. The tipping is still there, on all sides... but just barely. Shaping this dang thing took a LOT of work, but I love it. For daily use it compares to the Pilot Hi Tec C .3mm but with smoother feedback and immediate starting. It also compares to the Falcon, but the Lamy has less line variation and its a whole lot smoother because the tines don't flex like the Falcon's.

Lamy 2000 Needle point "gravity" drawing.

And here's the pic of the small text I wrote at the end of the video. Numbers described above.

Art - I agree wholeheartedly, although I would not mind an Abraham Lincoln.

My phone camera lens is actually cracked, so apologies for... well this.

I don´t have a converter for the pen. The parts on the image are all I got. I guess it uses cartridges, but since I don´t know which pen it is I cannot buy them.

But again, thanks for the reply.

Just saying Happy 4th and showing off my papers. i am quickly learning what is good here.

Got Fabriano and ARC (Got the punch in the mail) notebooks and I am loving both.

Here is a cat on Fabriano's paper.Loving it! Light with slight texture and chalk white.

Got an Osmiroind M Italic: great writing machine!

Got a red Esterbrook SJ! My fourth! --- >To celebrate the 4th of July? Ehem!

(A gray one is on the mail). As you may deduct, I am a fan of the Esterbrooks and don't see any nee dto experiment outside that brand. Simplicity that works. I love that. I may be sending off some PIF in the future when I start discarding FPs.I don't collect to look at th epens and talk about them but to use them, soooo.

Have a nice weekend!

Thank you. I am learning Copperplate. For really incredible examples, you can take a look at Mr. Ken Fraser's work in the Penmanship forum :yikes:

This looks so nice! The mix seems great too!

Thank you. Just using up inks I own instead of buying new ones - my wallet will be grateful. Is that sheen I spot on the China Blue?

Nice thought!

As for the sheen, its very light actually, but its there sometimes. It can show up at the outlines, but its not a sheeny ink at all.
