What size pen can you fit to a Namiki Falxon? Mine has a fine nib but would love to switch sometimes. Maybe to a F,M stub

Enjoy the pink converter you will have after you have finished using the Grape, it stains unfortunately.

I wasn't quite counting on that! I'll get the ink out this evening to check, thanks for the warning!

Pelikan M800 Tortoiseshell with Caran d'Ache Chromatics Ultra Violet, among others (apologies for bad mobile phone picture; trust me that they go well together):

A new acquisition: a rather worn Waterman 52-1/2 (I think?) with a generously flexible nib. Very dramatic lines come out of this beauty that has seen better days, but writes like a charm.

Five dollar No-Name pen from Shanghai.

Today's toy for testing and play. Next, a Linton Medium nib for my incoming Esterbrook . Couldn't resist the bling!

Newbie learns something new. I hope you can read this. My writing is not good. Using my newly received small Rhodia stapled mini pads no.13.

I think your writing is nice. No problem reading it. Great to see the difference in ink between the two pens. Also, I'm trying to picture what happened with your pen to release a "stream of ink." Trying to picture it without laughing, that is. I'm sure it was much less dramatic than the geyser I keep seeing in my head. Shouldn't laugh, sorry! :)

I'm afraid I don't know yet which one I will use today ...

First world problems! I'd be happy to help you choose - I might have to test drive a lot first though! Lucky you.

I actually like the slant. More details on the writing and art? Was this all done with fountain pen ink?

At least your Safari won't be pink, just the converter :) I have two inks in my collection that tend to stain, the Grape and Diamine's Ochre. I have empty cartridges reserved for them both which I just fill with a syringe whenever I want to use these two inks. If you don't want to be buying a new converter, but also don't want to be using a pink one, a weak bleach solution gets rid of the stain. Just be sure to rinse the converter thoroughly with water afterwards.
