Tringle, what a great thing to have your great grandfather's pencil and other things in a matching set. Family pens are without doubt my most cherished items. :thumbup:

 

Amberlea, I keep saying there is no such thing as an ugly pen! Here's a nice 1930s Good Service with less than perfect color, some gold plate loss, and a little brassing on the clip, but I love the detail at the ends with white discs set into red woodgrain celluloid. I think some folks call this a "target" end. This pen writes a really wet line.

I have to play with the B4 nib in my LJ some more. That one is fun! Like my old speedball calligraphy nibs but no dipping

 

I hear that the Leonardo Red Chalk ink takes a long time to dry. I don't care, that is one gorgeous ink!! (your writing doesn't hurt, by the way)
