No more place for more Intuition ..... I've just received three pens from a client today. He cleaned his desk from the pens he doesn't use anymore and gave me .... A Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava, a Parker Premier and a Montblanc Starwalker Blue .....

Tests and pictures tomorrow after having it flushed .....

I shudder to think what I would do ... I mean YOU would have to do in exchange for that!

The BBQ had passed, but the coals were still had some warmth so I brewed a slow slow Greek coffee and sat down for a quick sketch as the sun was setting.

Mmm . . .

[very cool sketches]

Pen: No idea, it says Parase on the side but has a STUNNING Faber Castel No3 nib.

Ink: Noodler's Black - the warm tone was the sun not the ink.

Paper: Seawhite of Brighton sketch book.

Very nice. I like the setting up of the context, as well. Highly evocative.

Sotto: What's that red one, fifth from the right? Nice looking pen from here.

For me, it's a Blue Monday

CaptainBA - The music nib would be fun to write, you should post some pictures of the pen and nib too!

I posted some pictures in this thread in the Pelikan sub-forum. But they were lazy cell phone pictures. I'll take some nicer pictures with my good camera soon.

Stop it! :(

Two blues is enough for me.

Seriously though, Skysora, that's a lovely sheet of paper showing SO much. Thank you.

Today's toys...

Nice Pilot Custom collection and lovely handwriting

was doing u's and n's with my Montegrappa (that's just how far I got in the exercise book to improve my handwriting). Then my wife popped in and ordered some labels:

Lamy Studio Platinum Grey, EF nib; Diamine Grape.

Your wife italic style is very nice

Thanks for the comments on the gray Parker 45. I paid only $13 for it, and it looks and writes great. You guys have so many really nice pens. Here's the other two I have - a Duke with no ink (I may get something blue and start using it), and the other Parker 45 I got. I paid a little too much, had to get a converter for it, and have decided that the gold nib is M, not Fine.

You're lucky with your Parker 45 purchases. Real bargain for nice pens.

I just received a very nice Esterbrook with the 2048 flex nib. Here is a sample:

I love your handwriting with flex pens. Your 2048 nib is perpendicular or aligned with nib direction?

Blue is a great color to begin a week.

I've been using this today. I need a drier ink - the Diamine Midnight is much too free-flowing for this pen.............

It's actually my handwriting (my wife ordered the labels), and these are the first real words I formed...

I partially blame you and that lovely China Blue you used the other week.

No more ink this month. PR Gray Flannel was June's ink.

You must've loved sketching that with the PO nib. Gutted I didn't hold out for a 912.

I somehow ended up with five pens with me today.

I've been doodling with them all (except the 78G which is only used for bullet journaling).

I'm sorry for that! (no I'm not....I really like that ink) :P

Could actually try that since then?

The PO nib is really great! I wouldn't mind if it had a bit less feedback, but that's it. The downward bend of the nib is a nice feature too. You can draw a great >2mm wide line with it.

Nice and shiny! Sweet! :)
