Wow! Congratulations on your new pens.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?!? :yikes:

Here is the picture of those three gems ...

It's fine to have clients who appreciate me ....

As photographer and photographic items retailer, I have many clients mad about fountain pens (and watches) and sometimes, I receive one or another present from them....

Oh, that Visconti is so interesting looking! What a nice gift.

Wow! Congrats, very nice pens! Is the Visconti flexible/soft/springy?

I have the same question about the Visconti. Is there any flex in the nib? I am feeling sorry for myself that as a lover of flex, the new pens that are so cool and beautiful, with easy to use piston fill systems, naturally also have stiff, modern made nibs. I suppose the term "You can't have everything" applies in this case. I did some research on this pen and found that it is made from the lava from Mt. Etna on Sicily. Beyond cool! I suppose that's also why it is so light, too. Sigh.

Yes it's rather flexible (not as the "good old" nibs). I made a small video of me writing with it but the file is a little bit ... too big. I try to reduce it and post it ....

I really like the tricolour effect on the 580RB. Is that a mix-and-match pen, or did it come like that?

Wait ... 580RB ... red-blue? I guess that answers my question :)

Lousy photographer, pah!

Your images just made me spend £10.09 on a bottle of Gray Flannel from The Writing Desk :puddle:

I knew I had to have the right color ink in this pen; my usual brown just doesn't go. Sadly, it's for looks only, as I don't care for the lavendar hue. WIll probably go back to brown now that I've taken a pic of how beautiful it can be :D

Attila: If that is the Kingdom Note Japanese Bug green you are using in your last writing sample, you are making me nuts! It is just so beautiful, shades like crazy and even sheens, right? Where is Atsu and my credit card!

Yes, that's the Tanna Japonensis! I really adore the shading.

The sheen is almost negligible though. I've only noticed it when I was taking some close ups from the shading.

If you have the right paper you can notice some small silver sparks here and there, but nothing too apparent. Its all about the shading.

edit: Your ringtop is just so nice! And what a great shade of violet!
