But on the other hand... I did win ebay auctions for 4 cheapie pens. 3 Chinese (Jinhao 599 Black with M-nib, Jinhao 599 Smoke with M-nib and a grey marbled Jinhao 500 with a broad nib) and 1 Indian (Romus something, unknown nib). That's a whopping €11.83 for 4 pens, shipped. If only one of the Jinhaos writes as good as my X750, I'll be happy.

 

I'm always a bit surprised when I pick up my x750 and write with it. It's so enjoyable. :)

Now I just wish the converter it came with wasn't so shoddy and that I hadn't forgotten to buy a replacement on my recent Goulet order.

Inks, inks, inks, Can you show some inks?

 

I like several blues like Waterman's Florida Blue,Diamine Asa Blue. Mediterranean Blue & Royal Blue, but would LUV to see a few lines written with them? Also looking for a nice red which is not orangy or purplish or pink. I have several blacks and it is becoming BORING! I am in a discovery journey. Thanks, thank, thanks...

I was robbed two months ago and the thieves took my car, my documents, my ultrabook, my cell phone, and most importantly, my pens.

 

I confess that this affected my enthusiasm with the art of writing, but now I recovered and came back to forum.

Oh, that is very painful news. I'm sorry for your losses. I'm also glad to hear that you are on the road to a full recovery!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Attila, those are great photos! What a nice "family" you have there!

 

Last weekend I was in meetings and carried with me a 1930s Doric. I felt pretty smart in my nerdy way and enjoyed using this old classic to take notes. It lays down a gorgeous line with fantastic line variation, and the MB Toffee Brown matches the base color of the barrel pretty nicely.
