Didn't feel like writing tonight (being sick does that, I guess), so... I doodled again instead. Once again, used all my pens in it (yup, those 5 you see there comprises of my entire current collection ;.;).

Yesterday's doodle bled through. This is just an old grid paper notepad I have- nothing fancy. Guess I should add a Rhodia pad to my order on Friday if I'mma continue doodling...

From left-to-right: Jinhao x750 med nib w/ Manuscript red cart, Pilot Parallel 6mm w/ red parallel cart, Manuscript med nib w/ Manuscript black cart, Hero 7028 (med or fine nib, unsure) w/ Pelikan Royal Blue, Manuscript fine nib w/ Manuscript black cart.

The Pelikan is the only ink I have right now, hence all the cartridges. My Goulet order is gonna have a lot of samples, so... There will be more non-cart ink soon (...I should order a converter for the Jinhao, since the one it came with broke on first attempt to use...).

And don't put ink where the bird is not.

That's where I have the problem.

BTW, I love how the smoking bird has his legs crossed like he is just chilling out for the rest of the day.

The Noodler's seems to have a better flow, but they look identical. But I am a FP baby so I am probably missing ALL THE NUANCES.

... I finish work (yes I'm a bad person who hangs out on FPN while working) in a bit over an hour. I'm gonna try drawing birds. It's on y'all if they come out looking like some poor mad scientist's experiment. ;)

I like the bird smoking. Looks like he is enjoying music or something.
