It's been grey and rainy here the past few days so I pulled this out, making a close match of pen, ink, sky and mood:

Saskia, I keep hoping to hear of new and amazing Icelandic inks!

Hi all - just having some fun with my 2k's and Bamboo after a long day. I'm sure you can spot at least one spelling error performed amidst my grog.. Bout to tuck in.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Nice pen, nice writing. But: what ink is this? And does it in reallity also look like 'real green, interesting green but still real green'?

Sinistral your writing is gorgeous with that W3V!!!

The mailman brought a parcel bearing a pen from overseas, one of mine loaned to a friend. It tarried for a while in the land of its origin and finally - reluctantly, I'm sure - returned to me in the land of snow and mosquitoes.

These Summit nibs are incredibly soft, with a great feel and some ability to flex:

One thing I like about the Summits are the small details, like peaked ends and subtle chasing patterns:

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Its Moss Green by Graf von Faber-Castell :)

That's not the first time I have liked it. Guess it's time to bite the bullet!

There are so many amazing pictures in this thread, I am super happy whenever I scroll around in here. :D

AAAndrew - that nib on your 51 is amazing!

This is probably late, but about that Pelikan m200 of amberleadavis'? I think it is the little LITTLE brother/sister of the Blue Ocean, a LE released in 2007 (I think). It was an m800 size pen. They also made a limited run of an m600 size, and I have a set (ballpoint and FP) of that size, that people generally nicknamed "Baby Blue Ocean". These little 200 sized ones are great, and I have two - one I use ALL the time, and one that sits in the box as a back up. Good thing too, since I just noticed a crack in the cap of my user one!

I call them Baby BABY Blue Ocean. :) I think they originally sold with a steel nib, but this one came with a 14K F.

WOW what's the middle pen, please?

prettypink - that is an Aurora Optima, one of the regular blue/black auroloide line. The difference is that it is a vintage one, from before they changed the material to this.

I got it from Sarj at the Dc Pen Show a few years ago, and I really love it. He also had a vintage green and red and they are just beautiful. They were more expensive though that the recently produced crop, and I could only justify buying one. :)
