'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

Wimping out and using Lamy's own image since the pen is brand new (yesterday), but throwing in a writing sample to partially compensate. I used to do calligraphy, so using one of these nibs is not new, but what is new is figuring out that i can write differently than with a Speedball dip calligraphy nib. With the way I write, I also have to watch out for my writing getting too spiky. It's an adjustment, but I like the pen a lot.

I love the color of the Dolce Vita. I have a Delta 365 with the gold trim and the same color barrel. It's just too big for me, but I love the color. Nice pen!

My first post here, I hope my nonexistent photography skills do not make my handwriting too hard to read.

There is some shading to this ink, not too shabby for $4!

Tomoe River and two "Life" notebooks to play with. The "Life" are inexpensive, fp friendly and made in Japan. Always looking to check out new papers.

I really need to work on my handwriting :(

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.
