Nevermind, I read back a little farther and saw it was Sailor Apricot. Beautiful color... I'll have to search the interwebs.

Extremely sorry for the double posting.

Voila, it is fixed. No worries. :)

I am amazed and have started to question why I buy expensive pens when a cheap one is this good looking and a great writer right out of the box. This pen I have bought as a gift and just wanted to make sure it writes properly.

"...Finally there are the so-called double pistons, to wit, two piston heads being arranged one after the other, whereby a reserve ink chamber is furnished between the two piston heads fluid of which, at a given time, is exhausted into the main ink chamber with the application of pressure means. By the double piston head, however, the total ink reserve is diminished to a considerable extent...."

Inks: Jane Austen Violet, Monte Verde Purple, Iroshizuki Tsuki-yo,

Pens: Scripto, Namiki Falcon, Jinhao 159

Paper: Fabriano

The Jane Austen ink is really good stuff. It's loaded in my 159 and it starts really well which the previous ink in the 159 did not. Great shading when you want it or it can blend evenly when you want a solid one color fill. It's the perfect name for this color too. It is a perfect color for love letter writing from days gone by. This ink deserves a very high rating.

The Monte Verde is loaded into a fine point Scripto, so the shading is minimal given the nib size. It's also a great ink. The Old Man is primarily this color. I'd call it a pink/purple that pops.

I really like old sets, here is my newest old set. A Salz Brothers Flat top set in rosewood, and a really cool stub nib.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Wow....that purple and pink looks incredible. I'll need to get some samples *now* and play with them. And nice drawing!

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.

Tringle : Both are elegant looking. Good stub. Of course I don't have any stub nib and no hands on. But I always get swayed by the stubs of dcpritch and his writing. Now I see the same here. BTW, like the pencil a lot.

Today I am with my long time buddy Parker Sterling sonnet - a decorated veteran in the past. Sadly, it was in the Cell and serving time

I love this pen love its patina. And yes, its past service.

My latest addiction addition, a teeny weeny sea-foam green Pick pen that, once posted, actually fits my huge hand perfectly : )

I've completely fallen in love with this small thing in both how it writes and its diminutive, pocketable size <3
