@Attla - This is a set I have always had on my grail list, I sold my previous 52 Red Ripple a year ago, and missed the pen, I think that is why I summarily wanted to "adopt" your Turcsany....without further adieu.

@ Attila - I tend to focus on sets, usually unusual fountain pen and pencil sets.

@ Amber - I would love to be a guinea pig and write you a letter back. The coolest part of the MB Mahatma Gandhi is the smell of the ink. almost like Frankincense.

I really get the impression that Finalist only shows us the unpleasant creatures of Middle Earth.

But there are also others.......

During his ride on the Dragon, Eagle noticed an other flying creature of a species the Birds never saw before.

He could only took a short look, as the witch was that fast on her broom, that Eagle couldn´t follow her more than a few moments.

The Dragon simply was too slow. :wallbash:

But this short moment was enough to raise a strong desire within Eagle to see her again...... :puddle:

Also I'm hoping Nanor posts again soon so I can see some of that amazing handwriting!

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.

Welcome to the thread! Congratulations on your vintage Parker 45! Vintage and antique pens are my favorite, especially to use in everyday writing.

I have got love hate relation with this pen. All metal pens to me are a turn off. The nib is a nail, but no issue there. Its a fantastic writer!

But looking at the the bullet proof barrel and the way the 'aircraft brake wire' ( at least FC claims so ! ) is cross stitched, I sometimes suspect if its a Girl Thing ?? :P

Pankaj:

That pen must have been designed by George Jetson, or his boy, Elroy. Far out! What brand and model is it?

Sorry for the poor pic quality!

Purchased it few days back, had misaligned nib that I fix (Still slightly misaligned but I won't bother) Smooth, starts writing immediately everytime, the nib is lovely.

Bought a 14kt M400 OB from a FPNer here, waiting impatiently to try it out once I recieve it!

Paper is made by APP I think, I'm way too broke to afford these expensive moleskine and rhodia papers ):

@Tringle : Nice looking pen pencil set. I like the Pencil more. It reminds me of the MB marker pencil with its thick knob.

@Nanor - Welcome to the FPN and to the thread of "Don't just tell us show us." :W2FPN:

@Tringle : Very attractive Warerman RHR. I love to have Pen / Pencil set rather than pen/ball pen or roller set. Looks like you tend to carry or write with pencil quite often. Thats my habit. Nice set. Congrats.

@amber : All beautiful things are meant to show off to beautify the world. The Cartier is very pretty. I have weakness for Cartier pens cuz I don't have any. Whenever it was an option, i picked up the MBs. :wallbash:

Amberlea, I was laughing about two things - first, the thought of being in Minnesota and have that called "back east", though I certainly understand how that could be; and second, the "Owner of an Ugly Pen" diddy you came up with, to the tune of the Yes classic (I have the cassette tape version of the 90125 album, but nothing to play it on). Great stuff!

I posted on a different thread about this pen:

It's my too much money pen ... I love it. It was the perfect gift. I wouldn't have bought it for myself because I had just started my law practice and it was way expensive. Even still, it's my favorite. It's so pretty.
