What inks are you using?

BTW that 1912 heritage is a nice writing pen. I test wrote with one at Lamboldt-Arbenz, I was tempted......

Those inks would be Montblanc Blue, Pelikan Edelstein Amber and Diamine Onyx Black.

Landolt Arbenz on Bahnoffstrasse in Zurich is my guilty pleasure, I try out far more pens in that shop than I buy :) I was holding off on the heritage due to the cap scratch issue, but the guys in LA just had their entire stock of Heritage pens replaced by MB so I took a chance.

The pens but the exquisite paper, the papers are what I did purchase. The 9 days I was in Switzerland I always managed to stop into Landolt-Arbenz every day on my way back to the hotel from the rail station.

The trio of abnormally nibbed 51s:

One .9mm cursive italic, one very wet broad, and one really wide broad.

Calculating.

How common are those green P51s, that's a nice shade of green from your pic.

The Ink Dragon and Purple Ents are hosting a BBQ.

Great, Eagle loves BBQ :) I hope they invited him also.

What do I see there?

Carries the right Ent a pink balloon? Cute, I think you didn't showed it completely to us yet, l guess the Ents are not as tough as you want us to think about them... Come on show us their soft side. ;)

Btw. I heard that the Ent in Eagles camp with the injured arm is getting well again.

They found a chemical fertilizer on board the Sub and he responded very well to it.

Unfortunately he does not speak to the crew of the Eagle 1.

Alas, don't have all the pens out for picture taking, they are feeling shy.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

One of a kind, technically speaking, since it's a fantasy 51. Ariel Kullock-made parts + 51 special internals. The green is called parrot green, if I recall right.

Calculating.

Tringle, wish I could send the rain. It went just north of us and dumped 3" on my sister's area. That Wahl silver ring pen is beautiful.

Questions on Nib crep in the Falcons:

I find certain inks create nib creep like that in my Falcon. If I pull and wash the nib and feed and then wipe the top of the nib lightly with a Sunshine Polishing cloth and use Iroshizuku ink the creep stays away. If I use a wet ink like Noodler's Eel or Quink the creep is unstoppable.

Do you find the pen creeps differently depending on inks used?

For flex you have to try it out. Try not to push too hard as you can ruin your day and the nib of the pen by over flexing...Maybe some other FPN'ers have better suggestions, I just know not to push the nib past its limits.

Certainly, considering some are dry, some are lubricated (eel for example), etc.
