Yeah, right now it has found its way to the top of my "favourite ink"-list. Despite initial doubts when seeing the price-tag

I think most people have that feeling with pricier inks.

A tracking number is better than a refund! :D Also your new to you German pen better be a Soennecken!

Sure!

I really wouldn't mind a Soennecken, but nope....

You'll have to remove the old ones. I use a different provider, some of our users use Flicker to host the images.

No no! You can use a different provider (I often use photobucket) and use the "direct" link with the img tags, but you can also go to the top of the page on FPN and click the "upload" tab. It will allow you to upload more pics which you can not then delete unlike the ones in your personal space which is full, but these don't count against your quota. You get a link to the pic which you then use with img tags.

I've hidden my advice since I like Charles' advice better!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Oh, no. Send me the Aurora blue, I'll send you something back. That ink is clearly mean to you.

Actually Amber, I believe it is this pen. My Konrad is a piston filler and it holds a ton of ink. It's almost dry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I filled it last night... wow????? Talk about writing wet...................................

Hi pegasong, welcome to FPN! :W2FPN:

Welcome especially to this thread, where folks from all over the world chime in to show the pens and inks they are using. Your handwriting is very easy to read and has a nice flair to it - well done.

The Esterbrook desk pen on top of your pic looks to be the variety used in their "Dip Less" desk bases, and it probably relies on ink in the base as I doubt it has a filling system; is the tip slightly askew? The Lamy Safari is a great pen and I bet is one of the most commonly found pens in the collections of FPNers. The Wearever will likely need a new sac and you can look here for sources on help, or else just ask and no doubt someone will be happy to come to your aid.

Glad to have you!

PS, the USPS was kind enough once to have delivered the Postal Reservoir Pen but, not to be selfish or anything, that is in all likelihood as much contact as USPS is going to have with it. :D

Your photography secrets are no longer secret!

So did these pens reside in post offices everywhere like the current Skillcraft ballpoint pens do now? I would love to get a U.S. Government made fountain pen some day. Keep me in mind on your pen foraging trips, will you?

Who is the mysterious Fountain Pen Godmother? I have shorter pens I just have a harder time using them, I like looking at them. ;)

Oh, gosh. The FP Godmother makes the ink stop, she makes the ink flow, she controls what pens you want, she controls what pens you get. She is the FP Godmother!

So don't, like, mess with her. Ya' know?

To be honest, to claim it is only "good" is quite an understatement in my eyes.

It is excellent!

How do you your TWSBI?

Damnit man, what were you thinking about? I agree, was that a trick question?

Please forgive me, y'all. I must've been momentarily controlled by aliens when I posted that. What ever THAT was.

I've been playing with my Falcon some. It hit me when I got home from University today that I should compare the pens I have with me in my case... The Falcon is arguably one of the smoothest pens I have... Only slightly ahead of the Duofold and both are behind the Nº 52.

I find it strange that my extra fine pen is one of my broadest... (Or inkiest) This is on lame paper any ways... I have an order of Rhodia pads on the way. :P

Green ink is Diamine Apple Glory. It is much brighter in person and when it dries. :) Blue ink is a mixture of my own--Waterman Black and Parker Quink. Light blue is Noodlers Baystate Blue. Red is Noodlers Widow Maker.

Hey Tringle, is there any significance to the sub, or were you just drawing?
