Hi Attila,

I don't see it as a mistake.

Every contributor has the right to give the story a new direction. :)

I always enjoy your contribution!

I'm sure this will get interesting.

I'm keen to know what's in the package Dodo picked up, and how the story will continue...

Thank you Ptero! I can't wait to see what is going to happen next!

Thanks.

As for your 912. I'm sorry

I wished I had waited. I ordered a Custom 91 F nib ages ago (bargain on ebay) and whilst it's really, really gorgeous I know in the bak of my mind / heart I should have saved up for the 912.

Oh, that blue(?) 91 looks awesome! I don't know how different the bigger nib can be though, but some special nibs are only available in the #10,#15 size...this is why I went with the 912.

I was so excited to receive some good news about it....well...this wasn't exactly that

Taizo at Engeika said Pilot has some delays with production...

Hey, all, sorry for the above delay in posting. Ptero has more than caught up and WOW!!

Ptero you still inspire me.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

For that money I'd jump on it, I paid €70 for it ( which, according to the XE currency converter amounts to roughly $99 ) and I don't feel ripped off.

Sucks that you have to wait another month to get your hands on the Pilot. I think we can all feel your pain when it comes to waiting for a new pen

Tas :

The "Car n the street lights " drawing is really beautiful. Great job. BTW, the street looks symbolic :

the " half deserted street " in the poem ' Love Song of J Alfred Prufock ' written by T S Eliot. Love the drawing.

My newest acquisition - Ingersoll gold-filled ringtop with a superflex #2 St. Paul nib. Dark blue ink is Diamine Sargasso Sea, teal ink is Sailor Yama-dori.

Dang, what a nice pen. :yikes:

I never heard of a #2 St. Paul nib.

That is somewhat unfortunate nomenclature for a nib (the "#2" part). I have some #2 nibs also, but I've sold most of them off.

OK, I'll get my mind out of the toilet now.

I belong to a local pen club that's been meeting once a month for over 20 years. They have a huge amount of vintage pen information (and lots of pens!). This month's topic was Minnesota Made Pens, and amazingly, the same night of our meeting, FPN member Obnubilator put up four Minnesota made pens with flex nibs. Since I live in Saint Paul, I was lucky to get the Ingersoll with the St Paul marked nib. And what a nib!

I wanted to draw a bird for the Bird Wars story... Unfortunately, I'm not very good at drawing...

Not to mention that i didn't have a clue what kind of bird to draw... But tonight I had some inspiration...

I sat down at the table with a bunch of stuff I thought I might need:

And what better bird to draw than this rather famous dutch bird 'de Krullevaar' (Sorry don't know his english name. He's from the dutch childrens book 'Pluk van de Petteflat', which has been translated into english under the title 'Tow truck Pluck'). I did use a picture from the book for inspiration, but still I'm pretty damn proud of how it turned out. Even though I only drew the bird (with my fairly limited skills I was afraid to ruin the drawing by introducing story related elements into it). Well, here he is, the Krullevaar:

... Never underestimate the power of human stupidity ...

Keep track of the progress in my quest for a less terrible handwriting here: http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/262105-handwriting-from-hell-a-quest-for-personal-improvement/?do=findComment&comment=2917072

Coop, I can't wait to see how the Krullevaar will take part in the storyline!

Hi Amber,

great, this sounds like a plan, it would be fantastic if you could copy the story related stuff to a new storyboard/archive/comic-jam thread.

I would still publish and develop new stuff of our comic-jam in this thread, but also copy it afterwards to the new storyboard thread.

Sorry that I forgot E.B...... :(

Hi Coop,

I love your Krullevaar!

You can draw, we all see it clearly !!! You have a very characteristic style!

I just looked for Annie Schmidt's Books in German on Amazon, didn't know her before.

There are quite a lot books for children, they have all good reviews and look interesting, but all are unfortunately not available anymore.

Hi Irrigger,

great, well done, keep it coming! :bunny01:

Well this Bilbo Baggins seems to have a very special sense of humor.

I don´t know if it is representative for the Hobbits to welcome newcomers this way.......

Not everything is what it seems to be at the first look...... ;)

My first demonstrator. I'm taking it to work to use as a hi-lighter.
