Kalem, did you write that you are looking for the next addition to the harem? If so, I love it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Apologies.

Thank goodness I've been busy with real work and sadly have not made the time to relax.

I did have 20 mins on The South Bank today but no paper at hand to sketch. Arghh :headsmack:

Something soon, I promise.

There are so many drool worthy pens, I can't keep up with this thread lol.

This one came in today. Sheaffer Legacy Fantasy.

The ink is Diamine Pumpkin. I have a sample of Noodler's Apache Sunset en route for this pen.

I'm pretty sure you could make a couple FP bucks on the side doing work like that. :)

Recently, I have also added something else to my collection.

A Franklin-Christoph 6-pen case.

And for the pens in it. (Not written in order.)

Today, my FP Godmother directed me to use this Lamy Accent Palladium, so I complied as usual:

Sotto, I tried photography as a side job for several years. It was great fun! Then one day I sat down and computed what my average hourly wage was when I worked jobs. I was making $1.30 an hour doing photography. I only shoot for fun now.

It's all that high-dollar equipment 00Photo. That'll get you every time. Then you hear people saying, professionals are shooting from phones!!! *gasp* What is the world coming to? Still, we benefit from the skills you learned while making $1.30 per hour. Seems that's what I was making while serving my country in Vietnam. Would much rather have been shooting people with a camera!

Craig

ps. well, I wasn't shooting people with a rifle either, I was in the U.S. Navy and I was on an oiler (tanker) so I wasn't shooting people with 5 inch 54 caliber turret mounted guns either..... I have shot people with a camera though..... I digress.............LOL

Perhaps it has to do more with knowing how to light and angle the subject than the camera used? Regardless, you clearly have an artist's eye as well as talent and good equipment. I'm wondering if Pelikan made that pen just to use Apache Sunset!

Edited to add: The phrase "starving artist" is based on reality, with the exception of an elite few.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.
