Peterpen, that Toffee Brown looks like an excellent combination in your Thomas Mann. I would try it in mine (M nib) but I don't have the letter defining BB nib you have or indeed your fine handwriting, to do the ink justice. Great selection of pens you have chosen for today  Thanks for sharing.

Whaaaaat???

You think Midway Blue is a FRILLY blue?

I tried SIX blue ink samples (yes, I keep track) and Midway Blue is my favorite!

Now, if you want to make your butt look frilly, you're going to have to pull out your best pink ink!

Excuse the ridiculous lighting, I'm afraid that was unavoidable.

May Your Force Be With You

If I mention a supplier, I am ONLY affiliated if I EXPLICITLY say so.

No Mate, the postage is almost as much as the ink!

And packing - these blokes have taken a leaf out of Goulets book there! If I had know how much packaging there was going to be I would not have bought that insulation material for my van, I could have used their stuff :ltcapd: seriously!

and also, I am trying to reign in a bit this month as I did go just a tad too crazy last month on pens and things expenditure! :roflmho:

I would strongly suggest you try out Pharmacists Terra Infirmata ink - I will post a pic tomorrow with that in my Parsons Italic, it is a stunning ink and it changes colour before your eyes and it is iron gall so it should last about 500 years they say!

Da Vinci, where did you get your P51?

From eBay.co.uk -you pays your money and takes your chance so I guess I should stop griping!

Nibs found "in the wild" often need adjustment. Try contacting FPN member Oxonian.

Thanks, thats a good idea, I'll do that. Would love the pen to be "perfect"...!

The P51 is now with Oxonian. Notwithstanding his renown skills, even he feels that the nib is unlikely to survive the necessary reconstruction works. I am sure he will find a solution. Will have to change rotation now...thanks again Uncle Red for the idea.

Sorry to hear that. In a pinch you can get a replacement nib.
