I received my very first fountain pens in the mail today, and was excited to submit something to the thread. Please forgive the horrible appearance.

I was digging around the sample room looking for an old pen case or something to hold these new fountain pens. I found an interesting one sent to us years ago from a pen vendor with slots for 18 pens. They sent it filled with their various ball point pens designed for imprint. Now, I got a ways to go to fill this thing up.

Very nice pen case. I like how the pens are spaced further apart and have elastic holders on both ends. Nice

Wow, that sheen is dramatic.

Currently I only have Sky High (with also nice sheen), it seems that I have to take a closer look on these Sailor inks

I bought a box chalk-pastel pencils as I liked the charcoal pencil and thought the handling might be similar.....and indeed they feel similar.... I like them .

Got some pads of Rhodia R (line and unlined) in the mail from gouletpens.com, along with some J. Herbin Le de The. The look of brown ink on ivory paper is so me! I'm in love.

I got 2 new pens and tablets. You all know what a Kaweco Classic Sport demonstrator looks like. I did find a Waterman 5 with a Red nib at a good price.

 

 

 

Here are the 2 new tablets, both are B5 size. I used the Campus Wide for the messages above and the Life Expert for the Waterman 5 write up.
