Here is what the AlSport looks like after a couple years of front pocket carry...

the black anozizing is wearing off the sharp edges, but just getting character... this pen I keep full of RED ink and use to mark up prints... my engineers laugh because I always have it with me... GRIN... always ready to redline their drawings... LOL

Uncle Red, here are the two you ask about from my prior post... they are Morton pens, Morton held the patent for this and it later was made and marketed by Morrison Pen company as the Duet.... Morrison was of slightly better materials, this is metal, whereas the Morrison version was silver... either way, these have great nibs and the pencil is a gem as well. I actually use this in rotation as I really like the pencil.

This Esterbrook, was found in a miserable situation... Take a lookk:

The nib tip was broken, the ink sac was fossilized and the nib section had an awful stain of golden paint... Entirely dismantled, the golden paint removed, a new ink sac, a new nib (#9668 of course...) and job done... A great pen...

Look at my horse, my horse is amazing!!!

"Do like hooded nibs?" asked Uncle Red a few days ago?

"What?" thought I, "No. Sheesh ... does he take me for some sort of pervert?"

Well ... I was inking up some pens at the start of a long day and evening full of meetings, and ...

... it appears that I sort of like hooded nibs, I guess.

(the blue pen is my odd aerometric Waterman's pseudo-Taperite).

Hey, thanks for the cool Kaweco wear and tear pix. Here's my AL Sport glossy aluminum after two days fighting with my pocket trash:

Inked pens for the moment. The notebook is an Oxford Activebook.

I'm sorry but this photo is impossible to get to show up right.

Here is mine for today. I just cleaned out a wintery brown ink from Heir Schiller and wanted to try a light green to celebrate spring. Not sure I am loving the color but I will give it time to see if it grows on me.

Uncle Red: It's a Greenroom136 Scribblebook Journal Notebook cover. It's handmade by a great little company in Malaysia.

They offer a decent selection of bags, backpacks and accessories like wallets and these notebook covers as standard products, but they have customisable items as well.

I was a little sceptical at first, far east and handmade are often a bit of a gamble. But so far I own 3 of their products and they are all top notch. Quality products at great prices. I can't recommend them enough :)

Here are some more pics of the notebook cover.

Pen: Pelikan M200 Demonstrator with a Richard Binder stub nib.

Ink: C. Roberson & Co Classic Transparent Penman ink in Hazel Onyx - a lovely, lovely ink that is a new favourite of mine. On good paper (the lined Leuchtturm is not good paper) it has great shading.
