Today, my pens are involved in a top-secret, undercover, clandestine operation. Now where did I put those little buggers?

Today I am using my latest acquisition.

A Faber Castell Ondoro Wood (Oak ) I think.

This is a heavy pen all my pens are light but when I tried it in the store I felt something special for the weight.

Used it for a week at work and I am very happy. The weight and section combine perfectly.

The only problem was that I wanted a F and it was more like an M because it had a 9 flow. Check the first part of the writing sample.

So as a good geek we all are, I decided to tune it. Close the tines, and as I was at it give a little touch on the micro mesh.
The result, an even better pen. I try to have each pen one week on rotation, but this pen is like a different one so it will go another week to work.

Needlepoint nibs are strange. The fibres from paper collect in it enough that it'll stop writing or barely write, and they will collect on the top of the nib in an ink-filled mass... I have to brush that mass off with my finger to get it going again. :P Regardless of that fact, I love the snorkel.

It is a truly gorgeous pen.

Also, thank you Tringle and Uncle Red as well. :) (Welcome back, ID my English Duofold, and such :) )

Oh my! My handwriting is close to terrible. I'm going to need lessons in order to bring the best out of my fountain pen experience. In the meantime . . . .

Hello Lost Ark Welcome to FPN

I cannot find the nibs I want by a list, I have to try them out individually. Guess that is why I have few too many pens... :wallbash:

Luckily, a German informant arrived and directed me to the location of my clandestine pens:

He said his name was AL Sport or something like that (sure.....):

As I ponder what pen to ink, I begin to wonder how it all got so out of hand.....

and there are more, oh so many more....

Once I figure out what to ink, I will post something handwritten as this post is a bit out of sync without INK!

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!

Oh, you are so after my own inky heart.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY
